Bursledon Civil Parish Council is one of the many Parish and Town Councils across the country delivering services to local residents. Civil Parish Councils are the tier of Government closest to residents. In the past a similar role was delivered by the parish church hence the name Parish Council remains, even though its role is now completely separate from the church.
