Lowford Community Library re-opens to the public on Wednesday 12 August

Cllr Steve Holes (Chair of the Council) says “on behalf of the Parish Council and residents I would like to express or thanks and gratitude to all our volunteers who are returning and giving their time to run this important service”.

The service will be open from 10:00 am to 12:30 Monday to Friday.

In line with national guidance we will be operating using social distancing guidelines:
  • There will be a social distanced queuing at the entrance to the building.
  • You are required to wear a face covering unless you are exempt.
  • Only five people will be allowed in at any time.
  • Visits will be restricted to 15 minutes
  • You are required to sign into the library on the track and trace sheet
  • Use the hand sanitisers on entering the library
  • We will be operating a one-way system.
  • Returned books will be left in a quarantine box for 72 hours before being returned to our book stock.
