Annual Meeting of Electors

 On 20 March 2019 Bursledon Parish Council held the Annual Meeting of Electors.

Opening with a presentation from Hearing Dogs for the Deaf - A short presentation by Mr Malcolm Board and his trainee dog Stanley on the work of the Hearing Dogs for the deaf and from Eastleigh Borough Council - Planning and the Local Plan – Where are we now?

A short update by Mr Andy Grandfield (Housing and Development Lead Specialist), and Dawn Heppell (Planning Policy Specialist) on planning in Bursledon and the new Eastleigh Local Plan.

Play Areas to be refurbished
In the next few months we will be replacing and upgrading some of the play equipment on the Long Lane Recreation Ground and Woodlands Way Play area

New Play area on Pilands Wood Open Space
The Parish Council has taken over the ownership of the Pilands Wood Open Space. As a result of developers contributions a new toddler play area will be installed in the next few months.

THE ANNUAL MEETING OF ELECTORS

The Annual Meeting of Electors of Bursledon Parish Council will be held on WEDNESDAY 20th March 2019 7.00 pm
in the LOWFORD COMMUNITY LIBRARY, LOWFORD COMMUNITY CENTRE, PORTSMOUTH ROAD, BURSLEDON.

All local electors, the public and the press are warmly invited to attend.
